Everyone I Know Has Fangs

The other night Sub 7 and the Undead had their first gig outside of a theatre, it was at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge, MA. Being the official photographer/videographer for the band I went down to Cambridge to support them not knowing that most of the other band were of the same genre of music [Horror-rock] and I’m glad I brought the camera.
I knew of Necrophiliac Meat Circus because I went to high school and was previously in a band with Mark. They kicked off the night with raw horror-punk that was fast and full of grungy grittiness.

Next up was Sub 7 and the Undead, the rock n’ roll vampires. Even without the theatrics, the band put on a damn good show and the guitars sounded extremely heavy that night. I never get sick of hearing those songs.

Then Electric Mummy took the stage. I knew right away it was going to be a good set just by the way they looked. I was completely impressed by the talent in this band. With songs like ‘I Got the Rot’ and the parody of the Ramones ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’ (I Wanna Be Cremated) you can’t go wrong.

In closing, this was a night of the living dead, vampires, mummys, and creatures that made a night in June feel like Halloween. Check out any of the bands mentioned above by clicking on the links attached to name of the band. Support local horror rock! #haileightarmed
